Back of the net! Screwfix challenged LMC to create a set of bumper ads for their sponsorship of ‘ITV coverage of England Football’ and ‘SKY coverage of The Football League’. There was a big squad of LMC footy fans keen to get stuck into this brief, all ready for action with their A game of footy clichés. The result was a neat combination of commentary-style voice overs that related perfectly to a series of everyday scenarios for Screwfix customers.
The ‘Screwfix Way’ is no fuss, no nonsense – they simply get the job done. The Screwfix brand team appointed LMC to build a unique font for use on their entire creative estate across print and online. The successful mix was 1 part ‘originality’, 1 part ‘personality’ and 2 parts ‘no nonsense’!
